CAREER
- Reorganized the State Adult Education Programs to employ full time Adult Educators for improved services and expansion of the work place and access for clients
- Facilitated the first major State appropriation to Adult Education of nearly $1 million dollars
- Lead the effort to improve educational services to students in Lexington School District through Applied and College Prep Programs. This led to recognition by the South Carolina Department of Education and the US Department of Education
- Served as Superintendent during the successful consolidation of Orangeburg School Districts #1, #2 and #5 to Orangeburg Consolidated District #5
- Developed plans that resulted in the passage of the first and only referendum in Orangeburg Consolidated School District #5 of $48 million dollars to improve school district facilities
- Provided the leadership to Calhoun County School District in response to the US Department of Justice complaint regarding compliance of the Desegregation Court Order violation that resulted in meeting all requirements and complaints
- Participated in the successful Succession Plan and Superintendent Search for Fairfield County Schools, Newberry County Schools, Spartanburg School District Seven, Lee County Schools, Denmark-Olar School District Two, Calhoun County Schools and Hampton School District #2
- Provided leadership to Allendale County Schools to place a digital device in the possession of each student and teacher in grades 7 through 12. Also put in place digital devices for grades kindergarten through 6 grades (to be implemented in the Fall of 2016). The project included extensive professional development for faculty, staff and administration
- Served 10 South Carolina schools as Interim Superintendent
